The reagent 3-[3-(4-fluorophenoxy)propyl]-1H-1,2,4-triazol-5-amine was prepared by a similar procedure for the synthesis of 3-[3-(4-chlorophenoxy)propyl]-1H-1,2,4-triazol-5-amine in Example 22 above, beginning from 4-fluorophenol instead of 4-chlorophenol. EM (calc.): 356.2; MS (ESI) m/e: 357.4 (M+H)+.
