The crude reaction product was purified by flash chromatography (SiO2, 3-50% ethyl acetate/heptane) to provided 1-(2-fluorophenyl)-3-{2-[(2S)-oxiran-2-yl]ethyl}-3,4-dihydro-1H-2,1,3-benzothiadiazine 2,2-dioxide (0.22 g, 86%) as a white solid. washed with 2 N sodium hydroxide (2×20 mL) the organic layer was isolated dried with MgSO4 evaporated The crude reaction product was purified by flash chromatography (SiO2, 3-50% ethyl acetate/heptane)
