The reaction mixture was stirred at 0-5° C. for 45 min, partitioned with H2O and the aqueous layer was extracted with dichloromethane (2×150 mL). The combined organic layer was washed with H2O, dried over Na2SO4, and concentrated in vacuo to give an orange liquid. Flash column chromatography purification (silica gel, 2% EtOAc in dichloromethane) afforded the title product as a clear, colorless liquid (1.31 g, 36%). partitioned with H2O the aqueous layer was extracted with dichloromethane (2×150 mL) The combined organic layer was washed with H2O dried over Na2SO4 concentrated in vacuo to give an orange liquid Flash column chromatography purification (silica gel, 2% EtOAc in dichloromethane)
