The residue was purified by a standard method to get methyl 2-(3-(diethylamino)phenyl)acetate and methyl 2-(3-(ethylamino)phenyl)acetate. Then, the reaction was quenched with aqueous ammonium chloride extracted with DCM dried over sodium sulfate evaporated under reduced pressure The residue was purified by a standard method
