The product collected from the column was triturated with methanol and filtered to afford 2-bromo-N-(2-bromophenyl)-N-(3-(dibenzo[b,d]thiophen-4-yl)phenyl)aniline (6.0 g, 10.25 mmol, 46.9% yield) as a yellowish powder.
