After filtration, 165 g of crude product are obtained. 158 g 4-isoamylcyclohexanol (b.p.: 65° C., 0.6 mbar), which has the following composition: 33.1% cis-4-isoamylcyclohexanol and 66.3% trans-4-isoamylcyclohexanol, are obtained by distillation of the crude product.
