Next, NEt3 (1.3 mL, 9.5 mmol, 1.2 equiv) and 1-amino-2-methylpropan-2-ol S2 (844 mg, 9.5 mmol, 1.2 equiv) were added sequentially and the reaction was stirred at 25° C. for 15 h. The reaction was concentrated in vacuo and the resulting solid residue was redissolved in CH2Cl2 (100 mL) and washed with saturated aqueous Na2CO3 solution (25 mL). The aqueous layer was extracted with CH2Cl2 (3×20 mL). The combined organic fractions were washed with saturated aqueous NaCl, dried (MgSO4) and concentrated in vacuo.
